Bazaar & BBQ Coming October 14!
This year the annual bazaar and Port-A-Pit BBQ will be on the same day, and we cannot do it without your help!
The bazaar will start at 8am and the BBQ opens at 11am. They will both remain open until 7pm to include lunch and dinner.
The BBQ tickets will be on sale after Labor Day for $10 each. Consider buying ten and giving them away as an outreach – firefighters, police officers, teachers, nurses, etc. Take a plate to a shut-in or someone in a nursing home. Last year we sold 660 tickets and our goal this year is 1,000. We can only do it with your help!
For the bazaar, we need silent auction baskets or items of value. We also need various kinds of baked goods, cakes, pies, cookies, breads, jams, jellies and other homemade canned goods.
Contact Kelly Parker or Diane Keeney for information.

Simply Delicious!
The cookbooks are here! They are available for $20 each. It’s not too early to start your Christmas shopping, and a cookbook is a gift that keeps on giving! Stop by the narthex today or contact Judy Broussard, Barbara Yarbrough or Mary Lynn Creech to purchase yours. Cash and checks are accepted now, and we will be accepting credit/debit cards soon.

Tuesday Night Bible Study
Tuesday night study group will begin a new series on September 12 at 7pm. Our new study will be Adam Hamilton’s Creed: What Christians Believe and Why. We will be meeting at the home of Sarah Nixon. See Elinor Heermans for information.
