Doors open at 6:30. Fun, food and fellowship will be had by cast members and patrons alike. Invite and/or purchase tickets for your friends and family! Bring two cans of food which will be used in one of the many games at Uncle Phil’s Diner called “canned food bingo game” and then donated to East Lincoln Christian Ministries in support of their busy holiday season. Tickets for the event are $15 for adults and $10 for children 12 and under. Purchase tickets from cast members or through our ticket master Judy Gibson at 704-477-7214.

Reception for Megan Wallace
The Staff-Parish Relations Committee is sad to report that our Director of Youth, Megan Wallace, has accepted a position at another congregation. We are sorry to see Megan go, but we support her as she follows the Lord’s leading in this new endeavor and we wish her the best in this new opportunity. We are grateful for her service and the investment she has made in the lives of our youth.
You are invited to join us for a reception for Megan on Sunday, November 5, at 3:00 pm in the Christian life center. The SPRC will be working with our staff and youth families to ensure that our youth program remains active during the interim period until a successor is hired.

Adult Luncheon To Be Held November 9
Join us at 11:30 am in the Christian life center! The fall luncheon will feature recipes from Salem’s new cookbook. Guest speaker Steve Giordano will share his experience as a survivor of the 9/11 attack. Giordano was on the 25th floor of tower 1 when the attack happened. He will share his own personal experience, how it has shaped who he is today and what he believes we can all learn from 9/11. Please extend this information to others and be sure to register by November 5. Cost of the meal is a donation. The sign-up sheet is outside the church office.
