Worship

Praising God Together

Worship is central to the life of faith at Salem United Methodist Church. Whether it is participating in one of our Sunday morning worship services, serving on a mission team, or enjoying the fellowship of one of our study groups, there are many ways to praise God and connect with other people.

We offer two worship services on Sunday mornings throughout the year, each with its own distinctive style. You are encouraged to explore both services and decide which is most meaningful and comfortable for you.

 8:30 Traditional Service

This service features a chancel choir and organ. It is centered on traditional hymns and classic prayers.

 11:00 Contemporary Service

This service is led by a Praise Team and involves modern Christian songs and praise choruses.

Everyone is encouraged to dress in what you are most comfortable wearing. Both worship services hear the same sermon each week and celebrate Holy Communion on the first Sunday of each month. Childcare is provided at both services by caring Safe Sanctuary trained individuals.
