Salem Sparks
Salem Sparks
Every Sunday, children are invited to take part in their very own age-specific worship service during the 11:00 Gathering, Salem’s modern service. After the opening worship set, children who wish to partake are led upstairs to the Sparks room. They are taught a special lesson, worship through prayer and songs, and get hands-on with a craft. This approach seeks to engage their whole hearts, bodies, and spirits in worshiping the Lord.
If your child wants to attend, stop by the Sparks table when you enter the Christian Life Center. A volunteer will greet you and help make sure your child is registered properly. After the service ends, parents/guardians must go up to the Sparks room to pick up their child. If you have any questions, the volunteer will be happy to help! Otherwise, reach out to Taylor Bumgarner at taylor@salemunitedmethodist.com.
Sunday School
At 10:00 every week, we offer Sunday School for all ages. Come in early to grab a cup of coffee and doughnut holes from Cafe Alive before dropping your kids off with our team of teachers. Kids are grouped into the nursery, pre-K, K-2nd, and 3rd-5th grade. In class, they will engage with God’s word, learning the stories and foundations of our faith.
