Salem Youth
We are currently in collaboration with our good friend and youth pastor Ben Nobles at Denver United Methodist where Salem youth get to hang out with Salem staff and our friends every Sunday @ 5pm-7:15pm. Parents, if your student needs a ride meet us here at Salem UMC at 4:30pm and we’ll drive your students to Denver UMC with us. All staff and youth volunteers have gone through “Safe Sanctuary” training so that you know we take your student’s safety seriously.

“Sails” Worship Night
On Tuesday, March 18, we are collaborating with Denver United Methodist Church. Youth Worship Leader Carlee Rose will be co-leading with our worship team here at Salem UMC. It’s our first modern worship night together and we cannot wait to hang out and worship with you! The title of the sermon is “Sails” based off Pat Barrett’s song. Pastor Eric will be preaching. See you there @ 6pm!

Caregiver Support Group
On April 1st, the Caregiving Support Group will be discussing the importance of teamwork in caregiving. We will discuss being honest and clear on areas where we need help, how to identify the strengths and weaknesses of those who can help, and having those difficult conversations with family to ask for help and hopefully clear up expectations. We will also talk about who our extended families include, and that may include relatives and/or close friends. Please join us April 1st at 10am. This is a Support group for the entire community. All are welcome! Barb Lauro will be our coordinator for the meeting.
Community Easter Egg Hunt
On Saturday, April 19, we will be having our Easter egg hunt from 11am-1pm. Free lunch and tons of fun! We will see you there. 378 N. Pilot Knob Rd, Denver, NC 28037.
Donations are being accepted for The Easter Egg Hunt. Items needed are:
- Plastic eggs
- Individual wrapped candy
- Cans of cake icing for cupcakes
- Easter colored sprinkles to decorate cupcakes
- Monitory donations to help purchase food and other items
Note: Collection bins will be displayed around the church to drop off donations.

Bingo Night
We will be hosting Bingo Night Friday May 16th @ 6:30pm. $10 Adults/$5 Children includes Bingo, hot dog, and a drink. Fast-paced games with prizes. Additional Concessions available. All proceeds benefit our Worship & Music Ministry.

Caregiver Support Group
Are you currently caring for a loved one or anticipate the journey of caregiving? Laura Capranica, Faith Community Nurse will continue to facilitate the group with discussion on the variety of resources to help us in caregiving.
We meet monthly on the first Tuesday of every month. On Tuesday, March 4th, we will meet at 10am in the meeting room. What a blessing this group has been. Please Share about this free resource for the community.
Salem Youth
Note: March 2nd our service time at Denver UMC will start early @ 5pm-7:30pm this weekend only. Then the following weekend we will continue our regular schedule.

SUNDAY SCHOOL
Every Sunday we have Sunday school for adults and for your kiddos! Come join us @ 10am!
Lifegroup
The last Thursday of every month, our worship team is hosting a life group in our modern worship area here at Salem. We are going through Jeremy Riddle’s Book “The Reset” and claiming back worship in our culture today. We start @ 6:30pm. All ages are welcome!
