Spiritual Gifts,
Holy Action.

There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work.

1 Corinthians 12:4-6

What is a Spiritual Inventory?

Spiritual gifts are special abilities given by the Holy Spirit to every Christian for the purpose of serving others and building up the church. They are not talents we earn or achievements we unlock—they are gracious gifts from God, given to help us participate in Christ’s mission in the world.

In Scripture (especially Romans 12, 1 Corinthians 12, and Ephesians 4), we learn that every believer is part of the Body of Christ. Just as a body has many parts with different functions, the church has many people with different gifts. Each gift matters. Each person matters.

Spiritual Gifts

Spiritual gifts are given to:

  • Strengthen and encourage the church

  • Share God’s love with the world

  • Serve others in practical and compassionate ways

  • Grow in faith and discipleship

When we discover and use our gifts, we live more fully into who God created us to be.

Why Do They matter?

At our church, we believe everyone has been gifted for ministry. Discovering your spiritual gifts is part of growing as a disciple of Jesus Christ. Through prayer, study, serving, and community, we can begin to recognize how the Holy Spirit is at work in us.

If you would like to explore your spiritual gifts, we invite you to take the free assessment below, join a small group, or speak with Pastor Eric.
